Although authorized Administrators can view both active and inactive courses in the catalog using the status filter on the course search page, Student-level users can search and view only active courses in the catalog. Courses are defined as "Active" as long as the current date falls between the Display Date and Hide Dates defined for that course in the catalog. If you want to hide a course follow these steps:
- Search for the targeted course and click on course name, then click on the general Information tab.
- Expand Addition Information panel.
- Update Enrollment Close Date and Course Hide Date with a date less than today. This will inactivate the course and students will no longer find the course in the catalog.
- Administrator can still search for inactive courses and even re-activate them as needed.
