We've added a User Certification, Curriculum and Course Completions report to the LMS.

The User Certification, Curriculum and Course Completions report provides a comprehensive training history of all the certifications, curriculum and courses the selected student has completed.  The report does not include courses, curriculums, or certifications that the student is registered for but not completed.

This report is available to LMS Administrators and Location Managers.

To run the report, click on the the Reports link in the left navigation bar, then click on User Certification, Curriculum and Course Completion.   Next, click on Choose User to select a student (defaults to logged in user), choose the report delivery format (defaults to PDF) and click on the Apply Filter Criteria to run the report.

We've added an "Add All" feature to the Select User page so you don't have to click "Add" on every user you want to select.

The Select User page is used within the LMS to find and select users.  The most common use of the Select User page is on the Enroll Others page.  Prior to this enhancement, in order to select mutiple users, you would have to click the "Add" button for each user. Now you can simply click the "Add All" button on the top of the page (see below) to add all the users in the list to the User Basket.

Windows IE users please note, if the "Add All" selects a large number of users, Windows IE might ask you multiple times if you want to "Stop running this script?" because "A script on this page is causing your browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer mightbecome unresponsive."& ... Read More »

We recently discovered and fixed a course relaunch issue associated with Java 1.6.20.  Essentially, the browser window used to view a course would intermittently hang when LMS users with Java 1.6.20 installed relaunched an e-learning course mutiple times.  The issue has been resolved and LMS users with Java 1.6.20 should not experience this issue anymore.

We've recently upgraded LatitudeLearning.com's SCORM and Resource Content Servers to improve response time.  The upgrade involved migrating all SCORM courses and resource files from the existing servers to a new virtualized environment with new, faster hardware.

This upgrade should not effect any of your courses or resource files.  However, please contact us at support@latitudelearning.com if you have any issues accessing or launching your courses or resources.

Dealerships are becoming more engaged in their learning opportunities thanks to a new Web 2.0 Learning Management System (LMS) that has been deployed.

The Chrysler Academy 2.0 Dealer Training LMS was developed by Chrysler Group LLC of Auburn Hills and Latitude Learning LLC of Ann Arbor.

According to the Brandon Hall Research Center, the new systems "leverages the power of Web 2.0 tools to create a robust learning management system that enables dealership staff to propel their customer service to the next level. "

In the LMS, dealers are able to share best practices using video, RSS, scorecards, blogs, and other Internet technologies that have become familiar to most computer users.

The LMS has become a learning portal that allows immediate publication of important data to the dealers.

We've modified the Self-Study course type so that students can self-report completion of a self-study course. That is, this new feature allows students to self-certify that they have completed the requirements of a self-study course. To enable this feature, we've added a "Self-Certified Completion" flag to self-study courses. If the flag is set to "Yes" students can self-report course completion. If the flag is set to "No" course completion can only be granted if an LMS Administrator or Training Manager updates the student's course status. The default value for the "Self-Certified Completion" field is "Yes".

After enrolling in a course, if the "Self-Certified Completion" flag is set to "Yes" the student can self-report the completion of the course. To do this the student first clicks on the "Self-Certified Completion" button in the Action column of the Self-Study section on their home page, or under th ... Read More »
