Announcing 2019 PACE Excellence Award for website redesign

ABEM, together with vendors Gravity Works and Latitude CG, won a 2019 PACE Excellence Award for ABEM’s website redesign. The awards, bestowed by the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), are mid-Michigan’s highest honor of public relations activities and are awarded annually to practitioners who, in the judgment of their (out-of-state) peers, have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Latitude's Senior Architect, Che Goluska and Project manager, Matt Anderson (both pictured here) worked directly with ABEM to launch a redesigned website in March 2018. The redesign incorporated accessibility trends, writing-for-the web standards and multiple stages of stakeholder testing and feedback. Meeting its goals to be visually appealing, responsive on multiple devices and user friendly, website users express less frustration with finding key information.

The PACE Awards are mid-Michigan’s highest honor of public relations activities and are awarded annually to practitioners who, in the judgment of their (out-of-state) peers, have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. More than 300 organizations have been recognized for excellence in public relations over the past two decades. Non-profit organizations, corporations and public and private agencies in Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Gratiot, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston and Shiawassee counties can submit entries.
