LMS Roadmap: Navigation Editor
Brooke Oprsal | Posted Monday, February 26, 2018 |
Hello from Latitude R&D! This is Brooke Oprsal with a monthly update on some of our activities regarding the LatitudeLearning LMS product.
Recent Product Enhancement - Navigation Editor
We have recently released a Navigation Editor that allows you to pick and choose which icons you’d like to display/hide, and what order they appear on the Navigation page. Administrators can click on the Administrator icon and then go to the Site Management link, and then the Edit Navigation Page. This will take you to the Navigation Editor.
To use the Editor, you simply drag and drop the icons from one column to the other, or up and down the column for the order you would like to see them in. Then you click the “save” button at the bottom of the page. Once you do this, your changes will be reflected immediately on the navigation page.
In the second quarter of this year, we plan to release the report scheduling functionality, improved video capability, automated goal assignments, and the favorite tool functionality for administrators.
The report scheduling functionality will allow you to schedule reports to run daily, monthly, or weekly.
The video improvements will make it easier to upload and view video content using improved technology.
Automated goal assignments will be the re-engineering of goal transitions to an automated goal assignment functionality so that administrators can easily see all the automated goals assignments.
Finally, the favorite tool functionality will give administrators the ability to save icons to the administrator page for the functions they use most often.
There are currently 70+ proposed enhancements currently on the list. You can visit the Proposed Enhancement Page here and vote for your favorite to get it moved up the list!
In 2018 we plan to implement Course Goals, adding a new Assessment type to the reporting engine, associate assessment survey and test with a course, and revamp the My People page in the new UI. We’re very excited about our 2018 roadmap!
