Support for Internet Explorer 11 Ends
Jill Schultz | Posted Tuesday, December 15, 2020 |
As 2020 comes to an end, so will Latitude’s support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11). This change, which begins on January 1, 2021, is happening in response to Microsoft’s own plans to end support for the aging browser.
You can learn more about Microsoft’s timeline for ending Internet Explorer 11 support HERE.
To encourage LatitudeLearning LMS users still using IE 11 to upgrade, after December 20, 2020, anyone who logs in using Internet Explorer 11 will see the banner below. Users may continue by clicking Dismiss this message. This recurring message will continue to recommend updating to a supported browser.
Latitude will no longer implement software enhancements or issue resolutions that are guaranteed to work in Internet Explorer 11. This includes issues resulting from its ongoing usage. While many functions may continue to work in IE 11 for some time, we recommend using a recent version of a different browser or upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft Edge to maintain the best user experience moving forward.
