Fazoli’s Propells Training the Fast Casual Italian Concept in the Restaurant Industry

Fazoli’s® is an Italian fast food restaurant that began in 1988 in Lexington, Kentucky, as a multi-brand restaurant group. The original concept of the restaurant was sold to Seed Restaurant Group (SRG), Inc., two years later. SRG has been developing the concept and brand ever since. Currently, the corporation has 123 company units and 89 franchise units. Vanessa Naso, director of training at Fazoli’s, discusses the company’s franchise training program and how it has grown during her 3 years on staff.

Rita's Italian Ice Offers A "Cool" And Thorough Training Program

Rita’s Italian Ice first opened its doors in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, in 1984. As a way to supplement his household income, former Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo decided to start selling Italian Ice through a porch window and named the business after his beloved wife, Rita. Since then, Rita’s Italian Ice has gone on to become one of the most well-known Italian Ice shops in the United States, with 625 units currently in operation around the world.
