Zaxby's offers training in phases and gains success

SALINE, Mich., July 13, 2015 – 
Zaxby’s Franchising, Inc., better known simply as Zaxby’s, currently has over 700 locations with 125 of them corporately owned. Zaxby’s offers fresh, prepared-at-order chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches and salads in a fun, quick-casual family environment. They have been ranked Most Craveable by Technomics and a top Most Multi-Unit Friendly brands by Multi-Franchisee magazine. Zaxby’s has been franchising since 1990 and has a $284,000-664,300 investment range with $400,000 as minimum capital required. 

How does Zaxby's train its franchisees?
Zaxby’s offers three phases of onboarding training – 40 hours of online training and assessments, a 6-week training program inside a training facility and lastly to the headquarters in Athens, GA.

Tray Doster, CFE and Sr. Manager of Franchise Development said, “During the 6-week training program we work with franchisees through the different departments. We want to make sure they know they’re in the family, that we are embracing them and that they know each person in each department at all levels of the corporation.”
