User Self Registration Enhancements
Enhance the LMS Information page to allow User Self-Registration functionality as follows:
Allow the Portal administrator to turn User Self-Registration on and off.
a. If turned on, a sign up button will appear on the login page under the login control that will link to the registration page and a user will be able to self register.
b. If turned off, the sign button will not appear on the login page and if the user navigates to the registration page it won't let then submit a registration request.
Add a field to indicate whether to use the Default Location or user-entered location on registration form
a. If set to default location, the location field will not appear on the registration page and the user will be set up with a profile in the default location.
b. If set to user entered location, the location field will appear on the registration page.
i. If the entered location is valid, the user will be set up with a profile in the entered location.
ii. If the entered location is invalid, the user will be given an error message on the registration page.
Add flag to display/hide user "Notes" field on registration form, which ties to free text field in user account.
Group all the user self-registration settings together under the heading of "User Self-Registration".
